the fact that (again in base ten), a perfect
square will always end in one of:
00, 01, 04, 09, 16, 21, 24, 25, 29, 36, 41, 44,49, 56, 61, 64, 69, 76, 81, 84, 89, 96
thats what i found ...so the only possibility left is - 96 at the end....and if ans is none then i dnt knw how to rule out the possibility of the number ending with 96
however rest of the possibilities can also ruled out by the following facts for perfect square :
1) no square ends with 2,3,7 and 8
2) in last two digits there is atleast one digit which is even.

cont....

3) all squares ending with 1 or 4 have an even no. in the tens place

4) no number can be a perfect square unless its DR is 1,4,7 or 9.
